Being of an Aristocratic birth, Richard O’Connor has never had the need to want something he couldn’t have. He has always gotten the best trainers, best stylists, and even the best clothes that anyone can buy. All these things have given him the appearance, he has truly wanted. Due to his father’s genes, Richard is of strong stature. He is six feet tall and he weights roughly two hundred and fifteen pounds of fairly toned muscle. He has fair skin tone that goes together perfectly with his brunette and elegantly styled hair and his deep caramel colored eyes. In conjunction with that, Richard wears a pair of elegantly style glasses with adjusting lens.

Despite his elegant looks, Richard has been through numerous battles to earn himself the title of Second-In-Command of Xtinction. This has left numerous scars, brands, and wounds all over his body. These wounds, some of which are not on the outside of the body, are his badges of honor. He has numerous of little thin scars on his arms going from his shoulders to his elbows as well as major scars on his torso. All of these are usually hidden by his attire unless he is a personal-type of relationship with someone. They would see him as a man that has gotten everything he has wanted and could even be seen as a spoiled rich boy with perfect teeth and everything.

Now it is time for what Richard actually loves his style of clothing. Richard has spoiled himself with buying only the most luxury of suits and clothing. Richard likes to don a good number of fitted and custom made suits that are all tailored to his exact needs and measurements. He tends to lean towards a white suit when he is coming to Xtinction headquarters for a meeting with a pair of white gloves. When he isn’t going to a meeting or having a need to look decent, he will wear a custom tailed pair of dress pants with a long sleeved, V-necked Polo shirt for his casual attire. When he isn’t in his Casual mode or business mode, Richard does love to train, which calls for a totally different attire. When he is training, Richard likes to wear a lightweight, black, short sleeved underarmor with a simple pair of black shorts with no shoes.

The last thing about his appearance of Richard is his numerous accessories that he carries on him at all times. One is his family ring that rests on his right thumb that hosts his family crest and a beautiful ruby. The second is his iPhone that he never leaves his home without, and the last thing is his Fullbring Item. Richard’s fullbring item is a jeweled necklace that hangs around his neck underneath his attire at all times.

Personality:

Ambitious: Richard O’Connor, due to his prestige birth, has always had high ambition for his life. One of those ambitions is for the Human Race; he wants to push the Human Race, more accurately the Fullbringers, to one of the major powers of the Human and Spiritual Realm. Another is to one of the faces of the Xtinction Organization, this simple means that he will train constantly to be one of the strongest members of his Race. Other than that; Richard has minor goals, like adding to his Family’s wealth with his company, as well.
Friendly: Overall, Richard is one of the nicest high-rankers that anyone will ever meet. He is always asking about the various members of the Inspirational Heroes section of Xtinction as well as the various other sections. Due to him being the Second Highest ranking General in Xtinction, he shows that kind of friendly attitude towards anyone that he meets. The only time that Richard is unfriendly, or an ass, to anyone is when they show that disrespect or ill-manner of personality to him first.
Serious: Richard does find himself in a more serious mood when it comes to his work. Being General of the Inspirational Heroes puts him in a very unique position to worry about creating missions for every section of Xtinction as well as creating reports for the President that are detail enough to give the man the knowledge he needs as well as keep it from being too boring. Due to his serious work nature, he tends to be a little pushy during meetings of the Xtinction Generals as well as during any meeting with another General of Xtinction. He also takes threats against the human race as a very a serious notice as well.
Leadership: Due to his job title, he has a very unique philosophy when it comes to leaderships styles. The leadership style of Richard is very situational to say the least. He has a very relationship and task oriented style of leadership, which basically means that he cherishes the relationships of his subordinates, but he also cherishes the fact of completing objectives or tasks. This brings about a very hands on-type of leadership that pushes Richard very thin when it comes to dividing his time between training, writing up reports, and creating missions that would push the Human Race to the next level.
Ambivert: Richard O’Connor is what psychologist classifies as an Ambivert. This simply means that Richard falls almost in the middle of the spectrum of Extraversion and Introversion. An ambivert is moderately comfortable with groups and social interaction, but also relishes time alone, away from a crowd. This fits Richard’s persona perfectly. He finds more comfort in training alone without any distractions of people, but he does find time to show his face at fundraisers, meetings, and section trains, which only happen about once a month. Other than that; he seems to follow the lines of a normal Ambivert pretty much to the letter.
Merciful: The personality trait is one that Richard acknowledges to be his weakness. Richard tends to lack the normal mindset to perform a finishing blow. This trait isn’t an issue when Richard goes into his Psychotic State of mind, because he will simply finish the enemy. When he is in his correct state of mind, Richard will refuse to make the killing blow. This doesn’t mean he will not knock out his opponent or even maim them to surrender, but he will not make that killing blow. This is Richard’s personality weakness.
Flirtatious: Richard is what we would call a huge flirt. He finds enjoyment in flirting at all times. He will even flirt in the midst of battle if he sees the chance too. Also, he won’t make any difference between races. He shows no favorites within that category. The woman could be an Arrancar, Quincy, or even a Shinigami. Despite his over flirtatious nature, he actually doesn’t let it cloud his vision or mind when he is fighting someone he cares about. When he is flirting, he describes it as a dance that he does when a woman that could even be more exciting than the actual fight itself.
Calm and Collected: Unlike normal twenty-four year olds; Richard isn’t immature. He isn’t ruled by his emotions. He always seems to be calm and collected in the craziest situations, like in a fight with some hollows or other enemies of Xtinction. Due to his fine up bring Richard had a very unique childhood growing up, which consisted of Richard being throw in different training rooms filled with various “monsters” that his father caught and took care of it. On the opposite of the coin though, Richard does have a nasty side if his collected and calm mindset is scattered and broken. Only in true dyer situation like being beaten to a pulp to the point of his psyche breaking apart, the mental breakdown will cause him too virtually lose his mind in his own blood.
The Psychotic State: This psychotic state of being is fully classified as a defense mechanism that was created through the unique childhood experiences that Richard was put through by his father Abraham. This psychotic state is almost berserk-like when it comes to the description. Richard losses his calm and collected mind set in the battle, and he begins to lash out wildly without any set form of attack or tactics. He simply fits with pure instinct, which some could find more successful in those heated battles. Richard does have a mental tick that he always does when he is beginning to lose himself in his bloodlust. He will run his blood soaked hands through his hair to slick it back. Usually in conjunction with that; Richard will laugh insanity when he begins to enjoy the fight more and more. Other than that; the psychotic state is a rare occurrence; but when he does slide into that mental state, he forgets about his appearance until after the state ends, which will usually have him pull out a handkerchief and begin to clean his hands off almost immediately after he returns to his normal mental state.

Once Upon A Time

History:

The Beginning

Richard Helling was born into a very wealthy and aristocratic family in Ireland. Richard’s father, Abraham, was extremely wealthy, but he took a liking to a common Irish girl while traveling to Ireland for one of his many business trips. The unique thing about Abraham’s family is that they were Fullbringers. Each mother of the Helling line is an expert Fullbringer, which means before they are put on their pregnancy leave, they have one last bout with a Hollow to make sure the child will be a Fullbringer as well. Abraham, being madly in love with Gabrielle, explained all of this to her, and she quickly agreed to learn what exactly Abraham’s life truly was.
After Abraham and Gabrielle were married, they had their honeymoon in Brazil, and when they returned they found out that she was pregnant. Abraham took Gabrielle to his family estate in England. Long story short, Gabrielle was exposed to Hollow Spiritual Energy to make it more likely that the Unborn Baby will develop into a strong Fullbring. After nine months later, Richard was born and his mother passed while giving birth to him. This would ultimately change Richard’s life forever.

The Songbird’s Tune

Upon his sixth birthday, Richard was induced into the Helling Academy. This academy was created for the sole purpose of training Fullbringers to use and train their Fullbrings to the highest caliber capability by the Young Individual. [Think an X-Men Boarding School for the Gifted] Richard would spend the next six years in this institution before he finished all the necessary schooling provided, which would immediately put him in the running for another Boarding school, which would develop his actual education instead of his Fullbring education.

This boarding school landed him not far from home. He would always come back to the Family Estate to be placed in Abraham’s Cages to fight with various Spiritual beings that his father caught and brought to the Estate for his Trainings. The brutal and unloving nature of his Father’s Trainings and Home life created a split in Richard’s personality. The Split, which Richard officially dubbed The Psychotic State, is one that he would have to learn how to control over the rest of his life.

On Richard’s twelfth birthday, Abraham was slain by a nasty bunch of Hollows while he was out capturing more for Richard’s Training Sessions. Fortunately, Richard was well taken care of. He had enormous amounts of money, numerous houses all over the world, and servants to wait on him hand and foot. He only lacked a guardian that would take care of him until he was eighteen years old. Richard’s Private Butler, who had basically raised him at the Helling Academy, would soon fill in those pair of shoes while Richard finished out his schooling before going to university to study business.

The Ripper’s Birth

Fast forward too Richard’s early graduation from University with his Degree in Business, Richard had changed his name to his mother’s maiden name, and he graduated early with honors due to his studies at the Helling Academy and the various Boarding schools that he attended after his Father’s Death. He earned numerous university credits while still in High School only to complete his standard degree in two years’ time. This is when the playboy Richard comes into play. He had finally gotten all of his money from his family, and he was ready to live it up in the United States.

By age twenty-one, Richard had experimented with most drugs, had flings with numerous women, and could barely keep himself sober for more than a couple of hours for that entire time. Until he discovered a little drug that was supposed to help unlock the inactive parts of the brain to utilize the brain’s full capability, the drug worked very differently on Richard’s very unique form of mental state. The drug unlocked the Split-personality that Richard had developed to cope with the harsh trainings his dad put him through. The high was unlike anything Richard had experienced, but he quickly blacked out shortly after injecting the drug into his arm. Thus, we have the first appearance of The Ripper.

For another year, this was Richard’s drug of choice. He would inject himself with the drug, black out, and wake up the next morning with a video created by “The Ripper.” The videos would detail the night as an absolutely crazy one until “The Ripper” always ended up killing some normal low-level hollows before the sun came up and he was sent back to the depths of Richard’s mind. After that year, Richard would meet a true ripper that would peak the interest of his ripper almost immediately.

The Ripper of Montreal was a man, or being, with great strength. Even though he never disclosed the very nature of that strength, he was a man that was to be admired by all, but The Ripper of Montreal was a bit of a bloodlusted psychopath. He loved to murder, maim, and ultimately destroy any of the spiritual beings that came into his line of sight, and he saw a little prodigy in the blacked out Richard. After his twenty second birthday, Richard was given daily injections of the brain unlocking drug to give “The Ripper” full control over the body of Richard. The Ripper Duo went all around the world together killing various hollows, Arrancar, Shinigami, Quincy, and even the occasional Fullbring when they came to give punishment to Richard for his crimes against Humanity.

The Ripper Duo went unleashed for a year and half without anyone to stop them, but the duo couldn’t stay together. The Ripper of Montreal fled one night after hearing about a very strong Fullbringer coming to town to stop them in their tracks. This would be the moment that would change Richard’s life forever. The next day on Richard’s twenty-third birthday, he decided to treat himself to a little hollow bloodbath that would give him the present he never had gotten. He broke a Hollow Bait in the City of Rome, unleashed his Fullbring, and got ready for the massive amounts of hollows to flood the streets.

Two hundred and fifteen human lives were lost that day on top of the countless hollows murdered, but Richard wasn’t done. When the mayhem stopped, the blood covered Richard ran his hands through his hair and looked over at the one human being that stayed in the streets. This man was the President of Xtinction. He had come personally to deal with Richard’s killing spree, and he had a little thought to recruit him to Xtinction if he gave up the killing. Unbeknownst to him, The Ripper had ruled Richard’s body for an untold amount of time. He wasn’t ready to give it back just yet. A battle that caused the duo to leave the streets of Rome, travel to the outskirts, and fight there followed their greetings and introductions. In the end, Richard was beaten down into ground by the President and entered a little coma that lasted almost a month.

The Birth of The General

After the drug had finally left his system, Richard awoke in a Xtinction treating facility that housed the most dangerous Xtinction Criminals that had ever graced the Earth. The President had come to visit, got him a psych evaluation, and told him he had a little less than seven months to show to him that he was worth saving in Rome. A little over a year later, Richard was promoted to The General of The Inspirational Heroes, and he has dedicated to helping the Human Race that he had once destroyed as a sort of Religious Penance for everything he did while under the influence of The Ripper.
