Well 2nd I can tell you kamikake means god's wager or god's bet. I guessing it's some kind of chance game that can either kill you or grant you something. For one I think it will allow Ukitake to fight without worrying about his sickness!! So some badassery to be expected!!

That meeting between those two looked rather ominous. And Ukitake of Ukitake, I am expecting so much from him.
