Appearance:

Keita is a tall, handsome young man, standing at exactly six feet in height, with a fairly fit build, although his muscles aren’t very large, they are very toned. He has a cream colored complexion, with a very light tan, although there is absolutely no way one would be able to confuse his race with anything other than a caucasian. He has a few manly features about him, such as his wide shoulders, but also some more youthful features about him, including his more pointed chin, so that he looks a tiny bit younger than what he actually is, which is twenty two. Starting at the top, he has deep brown hair that falls in a bit of a shaggy mess on his head, partly covering his eyes some of the time. His hair is sort of in between short and medium length, only going to his cheeks in the longest areas, minus the back of his hair.

His eyes are a brilliant light blue color, like the sky, that seem to shine in the light. They seem fairly small and pensive, as if he is constantly thinking about something profound, and they are also hidden within his hair at times. He looks like a dapper young man, and usually wears a collared button up white shirt, and a brown sleeveless vest over that. The vest has silver buttons as well as a small pocket on the right breast. He wears a black tie that goes into his vest in a windsor knot. He then wears a simple black belt with a silver belt buckle and brown loose fitting pants. He then wears shined black dress shoes and black dress socks. He has a fairly classical look to him as well, the way he moves and walks around, composing himself. He has a very distinguished demeanor about him, as well as an air of nobility.

Personality:

Keita is a fairly fun individual, and he likes to think of himself as a combination of an evil genius and a good samaritan. He loves inventing things, but sometimes his methods of inventing them and acquiring the knowledge might not exactly be ethical, but he will never do it against subject’s will. This is of course presuming the people he is experimenting on aren’t evil. To the evildoers or those that have no moral compass and simply cause suffering to others, he doesn’t really care whether or not they want to be experimented on, and he will go to great lengths to do so. He usually follows the rules of the city he is in, and whoever has jurisdiction over the area, and doesn’t usually pick sides. He likes to be neutral, and instead of dedicating himself to actually working toward some goal with a group or others of a cause, he instead wishes to help anyone else in their goals, as long as those goals don’t go against his moral compass.

He has a full range of emotions, and usually he is sort of happy, even though he is usually absorbed in whatever he is thinking about at the moment, and doesn’t really crack a huge smile or anything of that nature. Sometimes on the other hand, he’ll laugh maniacally at some of his ideas, but that’s mostly because of his strange scientist nature. He does indeed have the capacity to simply sit there and be relatively “normal” but he even then, he likes to talk about strange things or try to interject and ask people if he could possibly help them. He loves learning, he really likes to learn about other people and their abilities and lives. He doesn’t really find normal humans enjoyable company, and instead he would rather hang out with a shinigami, or a quincy, or even an arrancar if they aren’t overly hostile towards him. He is a man of much intrigue to the other aware beings of the planet, and likes to chat with everyone.

Once Upon A Time

History:

Birth Arc: Before Keita was born, due to his fullbring powers, his mother was attacked by a hollow. The story behind this, however, was something that is actually quite interesting. His mother was actually simply a normal human, and during a time of turmoil between hollows and shinigami, the shinigami had resorted to using certain humans as bait for stronger hollows. His mother had more spiritual energy than most humans, but not enough to clearly see the shinigami and hollows and actually become aware of the spiritual side of the world. She did, however, happen to see the hollow that attacked her, and the hollow managed to slash at her face before the shinigami interrupted and saved her life. She didn’t really have a clear explanation for what had happened to her there, but she met a nice man that could see past the scars on her face, and they were quickly married and eventually had a child.

Keita was born, and was a nice and healthy child, that would eventually become completely aware of the spiritual side of the world, and this would eventually lead to some interesting things.

Childhood Arc: Because of his mother’s encounter with a hollow, Keita could see souls and hollows, as well as the shinigami who went out to fight them. He didn’t quite understand what he was seeing, but according to everyone else, he was just crazy, and this got him picked on quite a lot. His dad was an engineer, and his mother was mostly stay at home, so he had a relatively good childhood. He couldn’t wait to forget the horrible things in the neighborhood and at the schools he attended, and simply get home to mess around with electronics and other things his father brought home. His father wasn’t really an inventor, but simply loved working with wood and electronics, and this sense of adventure was definitely transferred to his son. Keita was naturally brilliant, and would win all of his school’s science fair awards, as well as ace all of his classes, even physical education.

His father beat it into his head that he was supposed to be well rounded in most areas, but specialize in a few specific things in his life that he enjoyed. He spent all his allowance money and money he got from helping people around the neighborhood and immediately spent the money on used electronics and wood. He liked to carve and work with his hands, and eventually as a kid, he made a miniature forge so that he could make his own tools and weapons and such. His father encouraged him of course, as the young genius started to skip years of his schooling and got into a university at the very young age of sixteen years old.

Young Adult Arc: As he was going to the university, he didn’t have very many encounters with the spiritual side of the world, but he knew that when he was finally out on his own, he could go and study the spiritual beings first hand. He was breezing through his university courses, as he always studied things outside of the normal classes. This made him do slightly less well on his college grades, as he was hunting down other spiritual being and learning from them. He learned about the fight between the hollows and the shinigami, and that the arrancars were simply dead humans that went through a trial. He also learned that the Quincys were an entire branch of spiritually aware humans that formed a faction and fought against those that they thought were corrupt and evil.

He eventually dropped out of college, and although his parents were disappointed, they quickly supported him as he started to become a young doctor instead. He loved studying things, and he felt that he had simply mastered engineering and electronics, so instead he wanted to learn something he had never knew about before, which was anatomy and how to perform surgery. He wanted to be a medical scientist, or something akin to a medical researcher, as he wanted to cure diseases and work on artificial limbs and other things that could help normal and spiritual beings.

Adult Arc: Keita eventually finished his schooling to become a doctor, four years early, because he actually applied himself greatly. He only had to actually fight a hollow once, as the shinigami around the area had a handle on things for the most part. The fight was short, as the shinigami came in and finished the job before he actually had to fight, but he knew martial arts, although he didn’t really know how well he was fairing against the hollow that wanted his delicious soul. Once he was out of the university with a full degree, he didn’t really care for becoming an actual doctor for normal people, he was an incredible adventurous person at this point, and wanted to learn much more about the spiritual world, and the beings that inhabited it behind the scenes.

He had met a few, but they were gone just as soon as they arrived, and it seemed that they lived somewhere else that wasn't actually on earth, or perhaps they did and they were simply invisible. On his quest for knowledge, he found a shinigami in a fight with a hollow, and helped them out a little. He asked the shinigami about the spiritual world, and the man sat down with him for a bit and explained how things worked, and what was going on in the world because of the spiritual. Keita loved to gain all sides of a story, and so he was forced to walk to the Quincys. They seemed to be a bit more strict than the normal people of the spiritual world, so he had to be very careful with them. However, that was going to be his next destination when he was finally going to fully delve into this spiritual world and make his own devices hopefully utilizing their energy.
